\n*Job Duties
\n\u00b7 Receive and process payments by cash, debit card, credit card, or other authorized payment methods.
\n\u00b7 Operate cash register, POS system, optical price scanner, or other equipment to record
\nsales transactions.
\n\u00b7 Scan items and verify pricing accurately.
\n\u00b7 Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change to customers as required.
\n\u00b7 Provide information and courteous service to customers.
\n\u00b7 Maintain a clean and organized check out area.
\n\u00b7 Balance cash and reconcile daily sales at the end of each shift.
\n\u00b7 Weigh produce and bulk items when required.
\n*Job Requirements
\n\u00b7 Education: No formal education is required. Completion of secondary school is an asset.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Experience: Previous cashier or customer service experience is an asset.<\/p>\n
