Job Description
\nA family in West Vancouver, BC is seeking a reliable, responsible, and caring Home Child Care Provider to provide full-time care and supervision for two children, aged 13 and 10. The successful candidate will assist with the children\u2019s daily routines, school-related activities, meals, and general well-being while helping maintain a safe and organized home environment.<\/p>\n
Main Duties
\nSupervise and care for two children, aged 13 and 10.
\nEnsure the children\u2019s safety and well-being at all times.
\nAssist with morning, after-school, and evening routines as required.
\nPrepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
\nAssist with school preparation and homework routines.
\nAccompany the children to and from school, appointments, recreational activities, and other activities as required.
\nOrganize and participate in age-appropriate activities.
\nMaintain a safe, healthy, and positive environment in the home.
\nPerform light housekeeping duties related to the children and household.
\nKeep the children\u2019s bedrooms, study areas, and common areas tidy and organized.
\nPerform children\u2019s laundry and assist with general household laundry as required.
\nAssist with meal preparation and basic household organization.
\nFollow the parents\u2019 instructions regarding the children\u2019s routines, activities, and care.
\nRequirements
\nSecondary school education or equivalent.
\nPrevious experience caring for children is an asset.
\nAbility to communicate effectively in English.
\nResponsible, dependable, patient, organized, and trustworthy.
\nAbility to work independently and follow family routines.
\nReferences may be requested.
\nCriminal record check may be required.
