Automotive Service Technician \/ Mechanic \u2014 Two Vacancies<\/p>\n
North Shore Auto Repair, operated by Mario & Valentino Automotive European Solutions Inc., is hiring two experienced mechanics for permanent positions at 234 Esplanade East, North Vancouver, BC V7L 1A3.<\/p>\n
We are looking for mechanics who can independently diagnose faults and complete a broad range of passenger-vehicle repairs.<\/p>\n
Employment details:<\/p>\n
Permanent, full-time employment.
\n30 regular hours per week, with occasional overtime.
\n$39\u2013$49 per hour, depending on experience.
\nWork performed on site.
\nStart as soon as possible.
\nLanguage of work: English.
\nFree parking available.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Review work orders, inspect vehicles and diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using computerized diagnostic equipment and testing tools.
\nRepair or replace engines and components of automotive systems, including brakes, suspension, cooling, fuel, exhaust and drivetrain systems.
\nDiagnose and repair electrical systems, automatic and manual transmissions, and heating and air-conditioning systems.
\nPerform engine repairs and overhauls, scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance.
\nRoad-test vehicles and verify completed repairs against manufacturer specifications.
\nDiscuss findings with the supervisor, document repairs and advise customers on work performed and future maintenance.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
At least five years of relevant automotive repair experience.
\nSecondary school ( high school ) graduation certificate.
\nStrong diagnostic skills and the ability to complete repairs independently.
\nValid driver\u2019s licence.
\nAbility to communicate in English.
\nAttention to detail, manual dexterity, reliability, punctuality and teamwork.
\nRed Seal certification is not required.<\/p>\n
Italian or Romanian language skills are optional assets for communication within the team.<\/p>\n
