\n\u2022 Supervise and coordinate sales staff, assigning duties and preparing work schedules that align with business needs and budget guidelines.
\n\u2022 Maintain inventory levels, order merchandise, and ensure the department\u2019s presentation meets customer expectations.
\n\u2022 Plan, supervise and assist with daily\/weekly departmental activities, objectives, and seasonal changeovers.
\n\u2022 Ensure store visual standards, including displays, signage, and cleanliness, are maintained.
\n\u2022 Hire, train, and support new sales staff, monitoring performance and providing constructive feedback while recognizing achievements.
\n\u2022 Manage team performance by encouraging, motivating, and inspiring employees to excel in their roles.
\n\u2022 Resolve conflicts while ensuring both customer satisfaction and a positive work environment.
\n\u2022 Help with store opening and closing responsibilities, including key-holding, signing for deliveries, and managing escalated complaints.
\n\u2022 Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
\n\u2022 Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Previous retail sales experience as a retail salesperson or sales clerk, \u2002cashier, telemarketer, door-to-door salesperson or rental agent, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a related field (7 months to less than 1 year of experience)<\/strong>.
\n\u2022 Ability to work varied shifts (weekends, early mornings, evenings and overnight when required).<\/strong><\/em>
\n\u2022 Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent
\n\u2022 Approachable
\n\u2022 Ability to handle physical demands including standing\/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, using a ladder, twisting, turning and reaching
\n\u2022 Ability to plan, organize, communicate, delegate and follow up team\u2019s activities and projects
\n\u2022 Strong computer skills
\n\u2022 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
\n\u2022 Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with challenging situations and make difficult decisions
\n\u2022 Ability to operate cash register (asset)<\/p>\n
