\nPosition: Home Support Worker
\nAddress: Vancouver, BC, V6A 2G3
\nWork Location: Same as address above
\nWage: $24.50\/ per hour (overtime pay 1.5 time the regular wage after 8 hours per day and\/or 40 hours per week)
\nWorking Hours: 30 hours\/ per week
\nTerms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
\nBenefits: 4% of gross salary or 10 days of paid vacation
\nPositions Available: 1
\nLanguage: English<\/p>\n
Job duties but not limited to the following:
\n\u2022 Provide compassionate in-home support and daily assistance to ensure a safe, stable, and comfortable living environment
\n\u2022 Assist with bedside support and personal care needs
\n\u2022 Support regular physical activity, such as accompanying walks
\n\u2022 Wash and care for clothing and household linens
\n\u2022 Carry out light housekeeping and routine cleaning tasks
\n\u2022 Offer companionship and social interaction
\n\u2022 Assist with grocery shopping and purchasing household necessities<\/p>\n
Job requirements:
\n\u2022 Completion of Secondary School is required.
\n\u2022 1 year of experience is required.
\n\u2022 Criminal background check is required.
\n\u2022 First aid certification
\n\u2022 Completion of a training program in care of the elderly care or of persons with disabilities, convalescent care or in a related field is an asset.<\/p>\n
