Responsibilities\/ Tasks
\n\u2013 Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
\n\u2013 Requisition food and kitchen supplies
\n\u2013 Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
\n\u2013 Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
\n\u2013 Inspect kitchens and food service areas
\n\u2013 Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
\n\u2013 Order supplies and equipment
\n\u2013 Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
\n\u2013 Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
\n\u2013 Clean kitchen and work areas
\n\u2013 Manage kitchen operations<\/p>\n
