Overview

0843224 B.C. Ltd. dba Subway requires 1 Restaurant Assistant Manager for our Subway located in Surrey, BC. on a full-time, permanent basis (30-40 hours/week).

 

Wage: $30.00 to $35.00/hr. (depending on exp.).

Work location: Unit 101 – 8050 King George Blvd, Surrey, BC V3W 5B5

 

Job requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

• Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in similar field is required

• Language: Must be able to communicate in English

 

Essential Skills: Must have good organizational and public relations skills.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, must be able to work under pressure, standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks and attention to detail

Work Setting: fast paced subway outlet with dine-in, pick-up and delivery services

 

Duties

• Responsible for the operational functions of our business.

• Plan, organize, and co-ordinate all resources and activities in our location.

• The work involves but is not limited to; setting targets; achieving goals and controlling costs.

• Recruiting talent, training plus mentoring and motivating restaurant teams.

• Provide ideas, initiative, leadership and personality to shape the restaurant.

• Organizing the restaurant to ensure excellent guest service.

• Planning effective work schedules.

• Scheduling/Attending in- house weekly meetings.

• Dealing with concerns, queries or complaints from our guests and staff.

• Achieving set sales and profit and loss targets.

• Monitoring and controlling costs (food, labour and maintenance).
