10005259 Manitoba Ltd.( dba DAILY FOOD ORIENTAL SUPERMARKET) is seeking a Cashier to join their team.

Permanent, full-time (30-40 hours per week), $15.50 per hour. Standard 6-8-hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 10am and 10pm as required.

Duties:
• Process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments
• Receive payment for goods or services

• Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales

• Stock shelves and clean counter area

• Greet customers

• Wrap or place merchandise in bags

• Weigh produce and bulk foods

• Provide customer service

Requirements:

 

• Secondary school completion required;

•At least 6 months of cashier related experience, include receiving payments, issuing receipts, customer service, and ability to maintain a welcoming environment for customers;

• Chinese language ability is an asset;

• English language ability is required.
