1005466 BC ltd ( dba Devil’s Elbow & smoke house / Jackson’s Resto Butcher ) is seeking a Cook for two of our restaurants.

Permanent, full-time; 30-40 hours per week; $20.00 per hour.  Health and dental benefits are optional after 6 months’ probation. Bonus depends on sales performance.

Standard 6-8-hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 10:30am and 12am as required.

Duties:
– Cooking everything on the menu;
– Inspecting ingredients for quality and freshness and supervising all food preparation;
– Giving training to new cooking and kitchen staff on matters of hygiene, cooking techniques, and other matters.

Requirements:
– Secondary school completion preferred;
– Minimum 3 years of experience as a commercial cook;
– Formal training in culinary arts is an asset;
– English language ability required.
