Apartment building maintenance worker

Job details:

Location: Etobicoke, ON

This is a permanent full-time job, to start as soon as possible.

Schedule: should be flexible

Vacancy: 1

Salary: $21.50 per hr

Language spoken at work will be English, no need for written English or proof of English.

Education: Secondary graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 7 months in similar maintenance job

Work setting: Could be different apartment/condominum complex

Responsibilities and tasks:

Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
Empty trash cans and other waste containers
Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
Work with minimal supervision
Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas

Experience and specialization

Equipment to use at work: small power tools, power lawn mowers, security system, upholstery cleaning equipment.
