Job Title: Computer Repair Technician

Wage Rate: $31 hourly

 

Job Type: Full Time & Permanent (at-least 30 hours weekly)

Language Proficiency: English

 

Education: Completion of College or other courses in computer hardware or networking

Experience: No specific work experience required, on the job training will be provided

Start date of employment: As soon as Possible

Key Responsibilities:

–          Interact with customers who bring their computers, laptops, macbooks, iMacs or gaming console devices in store and notate problems & issues. Notate the work orders accordingly in the system;

–          Perform device diagnostics to figure out the issues using online tech manuals, forums etc. and suggest he best solution to customers’ along with the price quote;

–          Provide online support to various customers over the phone and/or video conference calls in order to diagnose or resolve technical issues

–          Provide systems, network, internet or mobile internet support to users in business and home environments

–          Provide support for LAN IP (V4) configurations, DHCP, Routing & Switching support to various clients

–          Maintain a support issues log in an excel sheet and discuss issues with manager on monthly basis for analysis

–          Provide support with tablet and cellular device configurations, VPN configurations on computers, laptops and/or mobile devices

–          Provide support to businesses using servers like Active Directory management, DNS configurations, print servers, web servers setup and support etc.
