Job Description:

– Position: Bar Manager

– Employer: 1188789 BC Ltd dba Sushi Mori Japanese Restaurant

– Work Location: Unit 960, 15355 24 Ave, Surrey, BC V4A 2H9

– Business Address: Same as above

– Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

– Wage: $25.00 per hour

– Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week

– Benefit: 4% of salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation.

– Language: English

Job Duties:

– Train new employees, assign job duties, and make sure that they follow the safety requirements at bar section.

– Check and inspect customers’ ID as required by the law.

– Oversee and check liquor assembly before being served to the customers.

– Order ingredients and supplies needed for cocktails and drink preparation.

– Keep records of stock, and sales such as the amount, and cost of liquor served and wastage.

– Prepare work schedules and evaluate the work performance of employees.

– Maintain service and meet quality control standards.

 

Job Requirements:

– Education: Completion of college is required.

– Experience: Completion of community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related field OR 2 to 3 years of experience in food preparation or related service is required.
