Position: Cook (Japanese Kitchen Cook)

Wage: $18.00 per hour
Working Hours: 30 – 40 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Benefits: 4% Vacation pay, Free meals at work and tips
Number of Positions: 3
Job duties:
o Prepare and cook complete foods utilizing standardized recipes
o Always maintain the food prep area and kitchen clean and sanitized
o Oversee kitchen operation
o Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
o Inspect kitchens and food service areas
o Ensure that staff are thoroughly trained on each menu item
o May assist in recruitment and hiring of new staff
Requirements:
Education: Completion of Secondary School is required.
Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required.
