Job Description:

– Position: Cook

– Employer: 1238422 BC LTD dba Mom’s Cafe

– Work Location: 2036 Sheilds Rd, Sooke, BC V9Z 0P6

– Business Address: Same as above

– Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

– Wage: $20.00 per hour

– Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week

– Benefit: 4% of salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation.

– Language: English

Job Duties:

– Prepare and cook completely for a variety of food on the menu such as breakfast, lunch, sandwiches, hamburgers, salad etc.

– Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.

– Prepare and make sauces for the meal on the menu.

– Oversee kitchen operations.

– Check and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.

 

Job Requirements:

– Education: Completion of High school is required.

– Experience: Minimum 1~2 years of experience as a cook OR completion of college or other programs in cooking or food safety is required.
