Job Description:

– Direct, plan and evaluate day to day store operations

– Manage store staff and assign appropriate duties to them

– Liaise with various product suppliers, order products and commodities for resale at the store

– Plan budgets and authorize vendor payments

– Perform market research and keep up with market trends to determine customer needs

– Determine potential sales volume, and have knowledge of competitor effect on sales in store

– Carefully analyze and determine products & commodities be sold

– Create, modify and implement effective marketing strategies, price and credit policies

– Work with various vendors and create innovative in-store product promotions to boost sales volume

– Monitor revenues, Analyze and balance daily transactions

– Resolve problems such as customer complaints, supply shortages, any other problems which may arise from time to time

– Determine overall staffing requirements and hiring/training of staff as per requirement

– Perform other managerial related tasks in the store
