The 1401457 ALBERTA LTD. o/a Zoo Liquor (under Valleyview Motor Hotel) have been operating in the town of Valleyview for 15+ years and is now hiring a full-time cashier to join us.

Job duties:
1. Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service.
2. Scan items and process transactions accurately using POS system
3. Accept payments, issue receipts, and handle returns or exchanges
4. Maintain accurate cash drawer and reconcile transactions at the end of shift.
5. Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
6. Keep checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
7. Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves as needed.
8. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations.
9. Uphold high standards of customer service and professionalism.
10. Verify the age of customers to ensure compliance with law.

Job Details:
1. 30-40 hours/week; work in the night/weekend required.
2. Pay rate: 15$/hour
3. 2 weeks of paid vacation per year

The ideal candidate should possess:
1. High school diploma
2. Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate in English
3. Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions accurately
4. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
5. able to lift up to 30 lbs;
