Job Description:

– Employer: 1415409 B.C. LTD. dba Sushi Sen Japanese Restaurant

– Work Location: 40382 Tantalus Rd, Garibaldi Highlands, BC V0N 1T0

– Business Address: Same as above

– Position: Cook

– Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

– Wage: $21.00 per hour

– Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week

– Benefit: 4% of salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation.

– Language: English

Job Duties:

– Prepare and make various types of sushi, sashimi, roll sushi, salad, and hot foods.

– Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for special rolls.

– Prepare and make sauces for meals on the menu.

– Check and manage inventory order supplies and ingredients.

– Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers.

– Manage and oversee kitchen operations.

 

Job Requirements:

– Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

– Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in this field OR Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program or college program for cooks is required.
