Position Title: Drywall installer

Job Duties:

Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster
Clean and prepare surfaces
Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency
Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms

Work experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. 1 year to less than 2 years of experience required. On-the-job training will be provided.

Terms of Employment: Full time, permanent, 40 hours/week

Wage: $34.07/hour
