Job Title: Tattooist

Work Location: Same as above

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

Start Date: ASAP

Number of Openings: 2

Hours of work: 30 – 40 hours per week

Wage: $17.25 per hour

Benefit: 4% of salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation.

 

Job Duties

– Clean and Sanitize tattoo equipment and work areas

– Consult with clients to create custom tattoos, regarding size, colour, design and placement

– Use a sterile single use needle set up to permanently pigment the clients’ skin (tattoo) with inks approved by the health authority

– Maintain health and safety procedures and licensing standards

– Maintain traction, cleaning, sterilizing, and repairing equipment.

 

*Job Requirements*

– Education: Completion of secondary school is required

– Experience: No formal experience is required as on job training is provided; experience is an asset.
