Position: Food Service Supervisor

Work Location: 2F 5650 Spring Garden Road, Halifax, NS B3J 1H4

Business Address: Same as above

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

Wage: $15.00 per hour

Working Hours: 30~48 hours per week

Benefit: 10 days paid vacation or 4% of gross pay for vacation remuneration.

Job Duties:

-Supervise, coordinate and assign activities to employees who prepare and serve food.

-Prepare timetables and establish working schedules of employees.

-Check and order ingredients and supplies required.

-Order supplies and check delivery contents for meal preparation.

-Maintain food and service quality.

-Responsible for keeping stocks and ingredients fresh.

-Train staff who prepare and serve food in job duties, food safety regulations and procedures.

Requirement:

Education: Completion of High school

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in food preparation or service OR completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel, and restaurant management is required.
