Position Title: Baker

Job duties:
· Be able to work a night shift beginning at 2am.
· Be able to work a 10 hour shift standing on your feet.
· Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
· Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
· Bake mixed dough and batters
· Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff
· Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
· Draw up production schedules
· Train staff
· Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
· Operate machinery
· Organize and maintain inventory
· Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
· Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
· Be able to go up and down stairs multiple times per day and lift 20lbs.
· Be well versed in Laminated doughs like croissant
Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time

Wage: $20/hr
Work hours: 40 hours per week
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Other Employment Requirements:
3 Years Baking Experience within a Bakery, or Hospitality Industry workplace.
Or Completion of a College degree in Baking with a diploma or Red Seal Certificate.
Math and English reading skills
Transportation/travel information: Own transportation, public transportation is not available
