Job Duties:
Ø  Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine type and thickness of glass, frame, installation procedure and materials required

Ø  Measure and mark glass and cut-glass using glass cutters

Ø  Repair and service residential windows, doors and other glass supporting structures, and replace damaged glass or faulty sealant

Ø  Loading glass or mirror fittings onto delivery trucks for transport to job site.

Ø  Driving trucks to job sites and unloading glass and materials.

Ø  Cutting and removing broken glass prior to new installation.

Ø  Operating hoists or cranes with suction cups to lift heavy glass units.

Ø  Fabricate metal frames for glass installation

Ø  Cutting glass to size and specifications in the workshop and on the job site.

Ø  Cleaning the job area once glass has been installed and the client is satisfied.
