Overview
Focused on new house roof and balcony waterproofing projects and old house roof and balcony renovation and located at Elgin Ave., Burnaby, BC, At Home Renovation Ltd. is looking for Roofer Helper, this position is full time, one-year term.
As a team member of this fast-growing company and working in this fast-paced working environment, the main duties of Roofer Helper are：
Load, unload, transport and classify waterproof and other construction materials
Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
Mix, pour and spread materials
Apply waterproof material auxiliary agents
Assist heavy equipment operators
Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
Clean and pile salvaged materials
Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
Employment requirements
Relative work experience as roof helper
Capable of climbing heights and can carry over 80 pounds on the roof
Have the ability and endurance to work in the open-air daily
Work hours can include holidays, weekends, evenings according to fluctuating business levels.
You will work 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week (overtime working is available). The wage is $24 per hour, with 10 days vacation pay.
