Phigenzil Restaurants Inc.o/a A&W Restaurant in North Hill is looking for a full-time permanent cooks to join our busy team!

 

Position: Cook (NOC 63200)

Vacancy: 2

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30-40 hours per week), Day, morning, To be determined

Hourly Wage: $17.00 – $18.00

Expected Start Date: As soon as possible

Work Location: #1820 1632 14 Ave NW Calgary, AB T2N 1M7

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Prepare and cook complete menus according to recipes

·         Maintain inventory and records of food ingredients

·         Check the quantity and quality of received products

·         Estimate expected food consumption and requirement

·         May place purchase orders and/or requisitions for procuring necessary, food ingredients, supplies, etc. required for menu preparation

·         Keep kitchen and food handling area clean with proper regulation and procedure

·         Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

·         Secondary school (senior high) graduation

·         Previous work experience (1-7 months) in commercial kitchen settings

·         Flexibility; Judgement; Organized; Team player

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, physically demanding, Repetitive tasks
