Position Details

Type of Employment: Full-time, permanent

Hourly Wage: $19.00

Weekly Hours: 40 per week

Duties and Responsibilities

-Prepare and cook a variety of Thai dishes with precision, following Baan Lao’s authentic recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency and high quality in every meal

-Maintain proper food preparation procedures, including washing, cutting, marinating, and seasoning ingredients to uphold freshness and flavor integrity

-Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards by properly storing ingredients and maintaining a clean workstation

-Manage cooking times and coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service, particularly during peak dining hours, while maintaining efficiency and accuracy

-Execute plating and presentation techniques to enhance visual appeal and ensure dishes are served according to Baan Lao’s fine dining standards

-Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, fryers, and specialized Thai cooking tools, ensuring proper use and cleanliness

-Adapt to a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, demonstrating strong time management, teamwork, and attention to detail to consistently deliver exceptional dining experiences

 

Qualifications

-1 to 2 years of related experience required

-Knowledge of Thai cuisine or willingness to learn authentic Thai cooking techniques is a plus
