About The Clinic


BLOK Dental is among the most progressive and diverse dental practices in Saskatchewan, with a diverse clientele far and wide in socio-economic demographics; racial, ethnic, and religious profiles; age and health. The clinic’s mission is to deliver the highest caliber and quality of dental and oral care and services to the residents of Saskatoon.


The services offered at BLOK Dental Studio covers a full range of services from pediatric dentistry to dentures and geriatric services. The clinic is fully poised to increase its market share in Invisalign orthodontic treatment.


In addition to the private practice setting, BLOK Dental Studio is engaged in a public-private joint venture with the Federal, Provincial, and First Nations Government (Saskatoon Tribal Council), by providing mobile dental services to the 7 nations and communities within the STC, as well as foci associated with First Nations services (Saskatoon Food Bank, The Friendship Inn, White Buffalo Lodge, Saskatoon Corrections, etc) throughout the year.


About The Position


BLOK Dental Studio is expanding and growing rapidly. In serving its diverse range of patients, the clinic affairs will need to be consolidated, flexible, responsive, and modern.


There is a need within our organization for an individual with knowledge and experience in both clinical dentistry, and dental business management, ideally in private practice setting and background, to organize, optimize and consolidate various business, communication, and clinical operations.



The optimal candidates would have



·         Knowledge of the latest facets of modern and digital dentistry

·         Experience in inter-disciplinary treatment coordination

·         An analytic mind, with a talent for problem-solving

·         Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with a keen eye for details

·         Superior capacity with systems building and operational organization

·         Flexibility in providing work hours as needed, to meet deadlines


Job Description


The position includes all and is not limited to the following:



·         Analyze current treatment procedures, optimize, and create effective and practical procedures and work instructions

·         Analyze produced post treatment care data and prepare managerial report and policies to improve organizational effectiveness and performance

·         Analyze all clinic processes such as treatment, post treatment, marketing, finance, and design a new process map and supervise to implement in all departments correctly and effectively

·         Analyze all stakeholders such as current Canadian multi-tiered dental health care system, health insurance organizations, and government policies to establish patterns of collaboration for clinic process optimization

·         Stay abreast of dental technology developments with emphasis on digital advancements that can be implemented in our clinic

·         Analyzing current means of provision of dental health services and provision of suggestions and methods to improve on these

·         Compile manuals and policies for clinical and administrative collaboration and operation across all facets of clinic services


Minimum Qualifications



DMD, DDS or equivalent university degree
Minimum 5 years of Experience or expertise in dental clinic management
Experience with or exposure to a dynamic and diverse demographic of clients
Familiar and up to date with current modern dental science and practice
Past leadership skills with a history of effective management
Familiarity with or willingness to learn various analytical business tools and software
