We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various carpentry tasks and a strong understanding of construction principles. This role involves working on diverse projects, including residential and commercial builds, renovations, and restorations. The Carpenter will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to project requirements.
Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, siding, drywall, and cabinetry.
Restore and repair existing structures to maintain their integrity and aesthetic appeal.
Lay tiles and perform construction painting as needed for finishing touches.
Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square to meet quality standards.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following safety protocols.
Skills

Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
Strong skills in installation techniques for various materials including siding and drywall.
Experience with tile laying and construction painting is a plus.
Ability to restore existing structures with attention to detail.
General maintenance person skills are advantageous for diverse project needs.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
