Camp Oconto is Currently hiring  our culinary team for Summer 2025

We are hiring for a HEAD CHEF position.

We are children’s summer camp in Ontario.

Please Note: This camp is in a rural setting and require staff to live on sight for the duration of their contracts that last from 2-5 months during the summer.
You must have a clean criminal record to apply.

Perks: Use of camp facilities such as canoes and kayaks, laundry services, internet, free room and board etc.

Start dates: May
End dates: October

On site housing and meals: Room and board included at your specific camp location.

Location Details: Please note this location are out of the city and the is remote camp. We feed anywhere between up 360 per sitting.

HEAD CHEF:

Our head chef position is our most important role in the kitchen. You are required to have 3-5 years experience as a Sous chef and/ or Head chef.  Interpersonal skills must be excellent. You must be able to easily manage 11-15 staff and enjoy working with many different kinds of individuals. Volume cooking experience required as sous chef (4 years)  or head chef . Camp cooking experience as a sous chef or a Head chef is a bonus.

$36.36/ hr @ 44 hr per week
