• Completion of secondary school.

Experience:

• 1+ year of experience working at a gas station or similar business
• Prior experience working in a supervisory role
• Experience and knowledge of fuel, diesel, and propane products
• Experience with operations of a car wash facility

Specific Tasks

• Assign duties to sales and gas station workers
• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
• Order merchandise
• Authorize return of merchandise
• Establish work schedules
• Sell merchandise
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
• Identifying problems and resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages, and reporting to Head Office, whenever required
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
• Manage cash
• Oversee payroll administration
• Conduct performance reviews
• Supervise office and volunteer staff
• Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
• Ensure smooth operation of equipment
• Identify customers’ needs
• Provide customer service
• May perform same duties as workers supervised, including propane and gas station services
