CANWOOD DOORS & MOULDING BC LTD. located in Surrey, BC is looking for a CARPENTER to join its team as soon as possible. We are looking for someone who can work full time and is reliable.

Duties:

Determine specifications and calculate requirements.

Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs

Building custom doors according to client specifications

Assembling door frames, panels, and other components, ensuring alignment and secure fittings.

Installing locks, handles, and other hardware like deadbolts, latches, and doorknobs.

Measuring door frames and spaces to ensure the door fits properly.

Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.

Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware.

Maintain, repair and renovate wooden structures in residential and commercial buildings.

May supervise other construction workers.

Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school
• At least 2 years of experience in the trade
OR
3 to 4-year apprenticeship program in carpentry
Language: English

Location: All over lower mainland area and Vancouver area,  according to contracts
Salary: $34.62/hour for 40 hours/week
