Sushi Royal House is looking for experienced Sushi Cooks!

 

Position: Sushi Cook

Employer: Chan Mi Restaurant Ltd. dba Sushi Royal House.

Business Address: 2893 Grandview Highway, Vancouver, BC V5M 2E1

Work Location: Same as above

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

Start Date: As Soon As Possible

Wage: $16.25 / hour

Working Hours: 30 hours to 40 hours per week

Benefit: 4% vacation pay

Vacant: 2

Language of Work: English

 

Job Duties:

Prepare and make various types of sushi, sashimi, roll sushi, salad, and combination sushi.

Prepare and make sauces for dishes on the menu.

Ensure quality of food and determine the size of food portions.

Check food stocks and order to maintain food supplies.

Clean and inspect sushi-bar and food service areas.

 

Requirement:

Education: Completion of High school.

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a cook OR

Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or other programs in cooking or food safety is required.
