Overview

Ryan in Toronto is looking for a nanny to care for our 2 children (ages 1 and 4).

Salary: $20-22/hour

40-44 hours per week; full-time position to start on August 25, 2025

Must be knowledgeable in English.

Education: Secondary school graduation certificate required.

Experience: Less than 6 months/we will train.

Work setting: at employer’s home.

Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is not a condition of employment.

Responsibilities:
• Change diapers
• Follow our lead with toilet training
• Sterilize bottles and prepare formula
• Assume full responsibility for household in our absence
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
• Care for pet dog
• Bathe, dress and feed children
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by us
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Organize activities such as games and outings for children
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Prepare children for rest periods
• Supervise and care for children
• Take children to and from school and to appointments
• Tend to emotional well-being of children
• Help children with homework
• Cook
