TIRUPATI BALAJI CORPORATION o/a DAIRY QUEEN located at 2114-8th Avenue, Fort Macleod, Alberta T0L 0Z0 is accepting applications for the position of FOOD SERVICE SUPERVISORS and FOOD COUNTER ATTENDANTS.
$17.00 per hour, 40 hours per week, permanent, full-time , shift hours for FOOD SERVICE SUPERVISOR.
$15.20 per hour, 35-40 hours per week, permanent, full-time, shift hours for FOOD COUNTER ATTENDANT
FOOD SERVICE SUPERVISOR – Completion of secondary education is required. 1 year to 2 years of work experience in the food service industry is required. Ability to communicate in English required.
Job description: Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion the food. Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures. Estimate and order ingredients and supplies. Ensure food service and quality control. Address customers’ complaints or concerns. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage. Prepare and submit reports. Prepare food order summaries for the Cook. Supervise and check assembly of trays.
FOOD COUNTER ATTENDANT – Completion of secondary education is required. 7 months to less than 1 year work experience in the food service industry is required. Ability to communicate in English is required.
Job description: Take customer’s order. Process payment. Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs. Load buspans and trays. Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas. Package take-out food. Portion and wrap food. Serve customers at counters or tables. Stock refrigerators and salad bars. Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment. Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
