Overview
Focused on garbage removal and renovation located at Elwell St. Burnaby, BC, Daniel Garbage Removal and Renovation Ltd. is looking for a full-time Demolition and Garbage Removal Worker. This individual should have right working attitude and is willing and open to learning new things. Experience is an asset but is not necessary, training will be provided if necessary. We try to ensure workers have safe working environment and have the resources they need to do the work safely and efficiently.
Main Duties:
– Assist in demolishing buildings or part of buildings use proper tools and sort, clean and pile salvaged materials.
– Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment.
– Assist in the setup and cleanup the equipment.
– Support skilled worker as directed.
– Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure safe work environment.
– Must be able to work independently if needed.
Employment Requirements:
– Relative working experience.
– Must be able to repeatedly lift heavy objects 80+ lbs.
– Able to work overtime.
– English and driver licence (preferred)
The regular working time is 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week, working hours can include holiday, weekend and evening according to the projects. Wage is $23 per hour.
