Job Description:

– Position: Dental Assistant

– Employer: Dr. Sang Min Shin Dental Corporation dba Smile Well Dental

– Work Location: #202 – 814 15th St W, North Vancouver, BC V7P 1M6

– Business Address: Same as above

– Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

– Wage: $26.00 per hour

– Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week

– Benefit: 4% of salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation.

– Language: English

Job Duties:

– Set up tools for operations and examinations

– Clean, sterilize and organize tools after operations and examinations

– Take and record X-rays

– Advise patients concerning oral hygiene

– Perform duties as directed by dentists

– Prepare invoices, process payments, and schedule appointments with patients

– Maintain stocks of dental supplies

 

Job Requirements:

– Education: Completion of an eight-month to one-year college or other program in dental assistance

OR completion of high school with on-the-job training is required.

– Experience: Experience is an asset.
