Overview

$17.40/ hour , 35-40 hrs/week

Full time , Permanent employment

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Manage kitchen operations
  • Provide advice in the area of food preparation and storage, and food safety
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas
  • Address customers’ complaints or concerns
  • Establish work schedules
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
