Overview

Earth Candy Farm is seeking a Farm Supervisor to join the team.
Permanent, full-time; 40 hours per week; $20.00 per hour.

Duties:
– Coordinate, assign and supervise the work of harvesting labourers;
– Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations

– Supervise maintenance of infrastructure, equipment, and supplies

– Develop work schedules and establish procedures

– Ensure farm safety, food safety and security and bio-security procedures are followed

– Maintain quality control and production records

– May perform general farm duties

 

Requirements:

– Supervision experience is an asset;
– Ability to handle heavy loads;
– Ability to handle repetitive tasks;
– Work as part of a team and follow instructions of senior staff;
– English language ability required.
