Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Positions Available: 01

Work Location: 2396-272 Street, Aldergrove, BC V4W 2R1, Canada

Wage Rate: $29.00 /hourly, 40 hours a week, overtime will be paid after 40.00 hours

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Evening, if required.

Language: English

Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible

Education: High School

Experience: 1-2 years of administrative experience.

Job Duties:

• Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures and review evaluate and implement new procedures.
• Type, edit and proofread invoices
• Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems/database.
• Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
• Answer electronic enquiries
• Record and prepare minutes of meetings of Managers and Supervisors.
• Order office supplies and maintain inventory of those things.
• Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information internally and with managers and supervisors.

Essential Skills: Oral communication, working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Continuous learning.

Knowledge of Equipment: Fax, Photocopier, Computer, Printer, Scanner

Knowledge of Software: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF & Adobe

Other: The candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
