TRAVEL CONSULTANT AT EGYTOURS IN EDMONTON, ALBERTA
Location: 13706 Castle Downs Road NW, Edmonton, AB, T5X 4H7
Full-time, Permanent Position
Wages: $26/hour
Duties:
1. Assisting clients in planning and booking travel arrangements, including destination flights, various accommodation options, and transportation costs.
2. Providing guidance on visa requirements, travel insurance, and other necessary documentation.
3. Researching and recommending travel destinations, hotels, tourist attractions, currency, and activities based on clients’ preferences and budget.
4. Handling bookings and reservations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
5. Keeping up to date with travel industry trends, promotions, tour packages and changes in regulations.
6. Providing excellent customer service and addressing any travel-related issues or concerns.
7. Collaborating with travel partners and suppliers to secure the best deals and packages for clients.
8. Book fares, tickets, tour packages and reservations using computerized reservation system and airline websites.
Employment Requirements: Secondary School or College Diploma a requirement, or Vocational Studies in Tourism and Hotel Management
Work experience: Minimum 1 year experience in the tourism and travel industry
Languages Required: Fluent English (reading and writing), Arabic is an asset
