Job description:
Expansion Enterprises(Canada) Inc. is currently looking for a Full-time, permanent Fabric-cutting Department Foreman/woman to join our team at our Toronto location. The selected candidate will be expected to perform the following job duties:
● Oversee, organize, and plan the tasks of production workers operating machines for processing natural, synthetic, and hybrid textile fibers, yarns, and threads; finishing textiles; cutting, stitching, and manufacturing fabric and related products; and inspecting textile goods.
● Develop strategies to maintain work schedules and coordinate activities with other departments.
● Identify and resolve workplace issues, proposing solutions to enhance efficiency and product quality.
● Order necessary materials and supplies.
● Instruct employees on job responsibilities, safety regulations, and company policies
● Advise on personnel decisions, including hiring and promotions.
● Compile production reports and other relevant documentation.
Skill Requirement:
● Minimum completion of secondary school
● At least 5 years of experience working in textile, fabric products processing, and manufacturing
● Basic computer skills for report generation and inventory management.
● Strong leadership abilities to manage teams and ensure efficient workflow.

$34.5-40/Hour
Full-time, Permanent, On site (Toronto, ON)
Flexible 30 Hours/Week, based on the client project deadline dates and business needs, you may be required to work more than 40 hours per week
