Overview
Job title: In-home caregiver.
Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position (30 to 40 hours per week). Flexible hours are required. English or French. Job start date is October 1st, 2022
Salary: Wage offered is between $16.00 and $18.00 per hour. If minimum wage is paid, the wage will be adjusted when the provincial wage changes.
Location: Mrs. Florence lives in the city of Cote St-Luc, in Quebec. The condo apartment is situated in a residential neighbourhood. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by (bus #161 and #162). The major intersection is Kildare Rd. and Westminster Av.
Duties may include:
1- This job is to care for an elderly woman who suffer from Alzheimer, and limited mobility.
2- Provide companionship and supervision
3- Help with personal hygiene and bathing
4- Plan, prepare and serve meals. Kitchen clean-up is also required
5- General housework that will include doing laundry, and dusting
6- Will require working with another caregiver
Qualifications:
1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education.
2- Must have at least one year of work related experience as a caregiver. Must understand needs of an Alzheimer patient
3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, patient and able to manage the job without supervision.
