Overview
Job title: In-home caregiver.
Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position (between 32 and 40 hours per week). Flexible hours are required. English or French. Job start date is March 1, 2025
Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $19 per hour. Future wage adjustments will be made when the First Quartile wage rate change for this field of work in Quebec.
Location: MaGo… lives in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by (bus # 206). The major intersection is Roger Pilon, and Tecumseh.
Duties may include:
1- This job is to care for a couple. The husband is elderly and requires additional care with tasks of daily living. The wife suffers from chronic illness, and requires care and support as well
2- Supervision is required
3- Help with daily routine including personal hygiene, and dressing
4- Plan, prepare and serve meals. Kitchen clean-up is also required
5- General housework that will include doing laundry, and dusting
Qualifications:
1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian secondary school education
2- Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver
3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, patient, and able to manage the job without supervision.
