Job title:  In-home caregiver.

Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position (between 32 and 40 hours per week). Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required.  Weekend work may be required.  Job start is June 1, 2023.

Language requirement:   French or English.

Salary:   Wage offered is between $14.25 and $17 per hour. Future wage adjustments will be made when the provincial minimum wage rate changes.

Location:   JeMa… lives in Hampstead, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood, school and parks are nearby. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by. The major intersection Fleet Rd and Cavendish Blvd

Duties may include:

1-      The employer is expecting a baby for June 2023. This job to care for that baby

2-      Supervision of baby when parents are not at home

3-      Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise

4-      Bathe, feed, change diapers, and prepare the baby for naps

5-      Plan, prepare and serve meals for the baby. Kitchen clean-up is also required

6-      General housework that will include doing laundry and some ironing.

7-      Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment

Qualifications:

1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education

2- Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver

3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision
