Overview
Job title: In-home caregiver.
Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position (between 32 and 40 hours per week). Flexible hours are required. English or French. Job start date is April 1, 2024
Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $19 per hour. Future wage adjustments will be made when the First Quartile wage rate change for this field of work in Quebec.
Location- EmSe… lives in Montreal, Quebec. The triplex is situated in a residential neighbourhood, a shopping mall / park is nearby. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by (bus # 31 or 361). The major intersection is Villeray. + Berri.
Duties may include:
1- This job is to care for an elderly woman;
2- Provide companionship and supervision;
3- Help with personal hygiene and bathing;
4- Plan, prepare and serve meals. Kitchen clean-up is also required;
5- General housework that will include doing laundry, and dusting;
6- May require working with another caregiver, teamwork
Qualifications:
1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian secondary school education
2- Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver
3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, patient, and able to manage the job without supervision.
