Overview
Job title- In-home caregiver.
Terms of employment- This job is for a full-time position (between 32 and 40 hours per week). Flexible hours are required. Weekend work may be required. English or French. Job start date is June 1, 2025
Salary- Wage offered is between $17 and $19 per hour. Future wage adjustments will be made when the First Quartile wage rate change for this field of work in Quebec.
Location- Mr. Vic… live in Westmount, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by (bus # 66). The major intersection is Forden and The Boulevard.
Duties may include:
1- This job is to care for an elderly disabled man, and his elderly wife.
2- Provide companionship and supervision
3- Administer bedside and personal care to aid in ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing and undressing
4- Plan, prepare and serve meals. Kitchen clean-up is also required
5- General housework that will include doing laundry, and dusting
Qualifications:
1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education.
2- Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver
3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, patient and able to manage the job without supervision.
