Overview
In-Home Caregiver/Nanny needed for Chelico family for one ten-year-old boy. $20.00-$21.00 per hour for a 40-hour work week. salary depends on experience. Overtime may be required from 45-48 hours and paid at 1.5 x per hour. Two days off per week on Saturday and Sunday. 6 months of relevant professional childcare experience required. Minimum of Equivalent Canadian High School diploma required. Job hours are 6:00AM-8:00PM (Split shift–6:00AM-9:00AM and 3:00PM-8:00PM) Job located in Caledon ON. English language spoken and written, required. Work to take place in employer’s home.
Supervise and care for child in employer’s residence. Plan & cook meals and feed child. Light housekeeping for child. Oversee child’s activities. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Instruct child in personal hygiene. Tend to the emotional well-being of child and support social development. Discipline child according to the methods requested. Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings. Homework supervision.
Good communication and decision-making skills are essential. MUST BE FLEXIBLE
