Overview
In-Home Caregiver/Nanny needed for Kucharczuk family for 3 young children (10,8,8). $19.00-$21.00 per hour for a 30-hour work week, salary depends on experience. Overtime may be required from 45-48 hours and paid at 1.5 x per hour. Two days off per week on Saturday & Sunday. 6 months of relevant professional childcare experience required. Minimum equivalent Canadian High School diploma required. Job hours are 7am-7pm. Split shift—7am-10am and 3pm-7pm. Job located in Toronto, ON (Bathurst & Wilson). English language spoken and written, required. Work to take place in employer’s home.
Supervise and care for children in employer’s residence. Bathe, dress, plan, cook meals and feed children. Light housekeeping for children. Oversee children’s activities. Prepare healthy meals, as instructed. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Instruct children in personal hygiene. Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development. Discipline children according to the methods requested. Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings. Pick ups and drop offs. Homework supervision.
Good communication and decision-making skills are essential. MUST BE FLEXIBLE
