Fonda Lola Mexican Bistro is located in the heart of downtown Toronto. Fonda Lola considers itself a space for tradition, culinary art and inspirational Mexican gastronomy.
We are currently looking for a full time “Cook” with minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Mexican cuisine.
The successful candidate will need to:
Prepare and cook Mexican foods, especially “moles” (verde, rojo, pipian), marinates, ceviche and beef tongue preparation
Work with minimal supervision
Demonstrate “traditional “cooking techniques to cooking staff
Oversee kitchen operations
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
May set up and oversee buffets
Clean kitchen and work area
