Wages: $29.00 Hourly, for 37.5 Hours per week. Overtime after 40.00 hours

Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months): As soon as possible

Location of Work: Candidates are required to work at various locations in Greater Vancouver, Fraser Valley, and Lower Mainland depending upon the Company’s contracts.

Work Setting: Residential, Commercial

Education: High School or equivalent is required

Experience: 2- 3 years of relevant experience.

Language: Basic English

Job Duties:
Plasterers perform some or all of the following duties:
• Installing stucco components as per plans and specifications
• Obtain desired consistency by mixing plaster ingredients in trough.
• Apply level and smooth plaster coats using trowels, floats, brushes and spraying equipment.
• Form weatherproof surfaces over exteriors of buildings by trowel or spray coats of stucco.
• Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required.
• Cure freshly plastered surfaces.
• Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim.
• Spray acoustic materials or texture finish over walls and ceilings.
• Keeping Job Site, Vehicles tidy and following Safety procedures

Additional Skills: Work at heights and on scaffolding or swing stages.

Weight handling: Up to 23kg(50lbs.)

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding; Manual dexterity; Bending, crouching, kneeling; Hand-eye co-ordination; Repetitive tasks; Handling heavy load; Standing for extended periods.
