We’re looking for an experienced professional to join our team as a Logistics and Operations Supervisor to help develop and enhance our logistics processes as we continue to expand. Duties:

As a Logistics and Operations Supervisor, you will play a vital role in optimizing efficiency, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring that all logistics operations run smoothly by:

1. Managing movement of goods: Ensuring efficient and accurate movement of goods from supplier to job site, coordinating with customers and suppliers, tracking shipments and ensuring timely delivery.

2. Coordinate with Clients and Suppliers: Serving as point of contact for clients, suppliers, transport companies and sub-trades to ensure seamless operations; managing relationships and resolving complaints.

3. Inventory Management: Overseeing and maintaining inventory, ensuring sufficient stock for job fulfillment and conducting audits.

4. Documentation: Preparing and maintaining detailed logistics documentation, including purchase orders, shipping manifests and mileage logs to ensure accuracy and completeness.

5. Supervise: Train and mentor team members on logistics operations and compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role focused on operational logistics, including crew scheduling
  • Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in product procurement and shipping/receiving
  • Proficient in MacOS programs (Apple Numbers, Pages etc.), Quickbooks and experience with inventory software
  • Experience with digital log-books/milage reports
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of managing teams effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid class 5 (or equivalent) driver’s licence, experience operating lift/bucket trucks, and air-brake vehicles an asset
  • Experience with obtaining site inductions within construction and oil & gas sites preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 44 per week

Additional pay: Bonus pay, Fuel Allowance

Benefits:
Dental and extended healthcare

Schedule: Must be flexible, Mon-Fri, occasional weekends,  8-12hr shifts, early mornings, evenings, on call and overtime

Work Location:
Hybrid remote in Edmonton, AB, involves travel
